Pinangki's Meeting with Her Superior Was Discussed during the Preliminary Hearing with the KPK
JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office had a preliminary hearing with the KPK regarding the case of prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari. One of the topics was the alleged meeting between the Pinangki and her superior.
"It was discussed. I don't know whether it was BAP or not. But I do not need to convey the material here," said Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Ali Mukartono, Tuesday, September 8.
However, regarding the meetings and topics that Pinangki discussed with his superiors, Ali did not explain. Ali then emphasized that all matters relating to the case will be revealed during the trial process.
"Later in court (facts) will emerge," said Ali.
Based on the information, Pinangki reported her meeting with Djoko Tjandra to his superior. However, they still don't who was Pinangki's superior.
Meanwhile, the Director of Investigation of the Attorney General's Office of Jampidsus, Febrie Adriansyah, said that he has no plan on investigating her superior. It is because investigators are still focused on finding evidence and examining witnesses.
"Meanwhile, we haven't got there yet (to examine the superior). We are still collecting evidence, what is clear is that evidence," said Febrie.
Pinangki Sirna Malasari has been named a suspect by the AGO. She is suspected of accepting bribes from Djoko Tjandra to make him free from punishment in the Bank Bali case at the Supreme Court (MA).
The AGO suspects that Pinangki received a bribe as much as USD 500 thousand or IDR 7 billion from Djoko Tjandra. In this case, the AGO appointed Djoko Tjandra as the bribe giver. Most recently, the AGO has named Andi Irfan Jaya as a suspect. It is related to the agreement in the MA fatwa.
