The Praya Hospital's COVID-19 Isolation Room Is Filled With Patients Again
PRAYA - The government of Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara recorded the addition of new cases of COVID-19, so that the isolation room for positive patients at the Praya Regional General Hospital (RSUD) was filled again.
"There are 14 patients who are currently in isolation at the Praya Hospital," said Public Relations of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force at the Praya Hospital, Dr. Yuda Permana in Praya, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, February 9.
Of the 14 patients, 11 were positive for COVID-19 according to the results of the PCR swab test and three were still waiting for the test results. In addition, several patients who had previously been exposed to COVID-19 underwent self-isolation, due to mild symptoms.
"There are severe symptoms that we are isolating in hospitals. Meanwhile, those who are treated for moderate symptoms and those with possible mild symptoms can self-isolate alone," he said. even without symptoms.
"Hopefully after this 3rd peak, the pandemic will end soon. Continue to comply with health protocols by still wearing masks and washing hands and keeping your distance," he said.
The trend of COVID cases in Central Lombok began to occur in early January 2022 with two cases. Then it increased to four people and seven people, so far there have been 14 cases recorded.
