Annoyed By Being Called A Man With No Guts, The Stabbing Perpetrator In Kebon Jeruk Took A Knife In A Wagon And Then Attacked His Two Friends

JAKARTA - Kebon Jeruk Police Chief Kompol Slamet Riyadi said that the stabbing incident on Jalan Salam Raya Ujung, North Sukabumi, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta was motivated by the frustration of the perpetrator, BS (49), who admitted that he was often ridiculed by the victim.

"The perpetrator was annoyed because the victim was often ridiculed by the victim, so the perpetrator vented his emotions by stabbing the victim," said Kompol Slamet when confirmed, Wednesday, February 9.

Slamet explained that the incident began when the victim Haris alias Feri and the perpetrator sat next to each other in the parking lot at the location. The Ferry victim was seen by the perpetrator whispering to another friend.

"The perpetrator then felt offended, and felt he was being talked about by the Feri victim," he said.

Previously, the perpetrator had also harbored annoyance by the Feri victim because the perpetrator was said to have no guts.

The perpetrator was provoked by emotion, and immediately took a sharp weapon in the form of a knife which was stored in a cart belonging to the perpetrator which was usually used for selling.

"Then approached the victim Feri and stabbed him in the stomach. The perpetrator also swung the knife repeatedly at the victim's body," he said.

Slamet also said that seeing the incident, a friend of the victim named Dedy tried to intervene by brushing off the knife used by the perpetrator. However, by the perpetrator, Dedy became a victim again and suffered injuries to his hands.

The locals were aware of the perpetrator's actions, so residents reported the incident to the police.

"The perpetrator is subject to Article 351 of the Criminal Code regarding persecution," he said.
