Police Investigate Motives For Stabbing Two Residents Of Kebon Jeruk

JAKARTA - Kebon Jeruk Police Investigators are still investigating a suspect who stabbed two residents on Jalan Salam Raya, RT 10/03, North Sukabumi Village, Kebon Jeruk District, West Jakarta.

"The (perpetrator) has been (arrested), it's still in the process. Later, yes," said Kebon Jeruk Police Chief Kompol Slamet when contacted by VOI, Tuesday, February 8.

Currently, the perpetrators are still undergoing examination at the Kebon Jeruk Police Headquarters. Police also confiscated sharp weapons as evidence belonging to the perpetrators.

As is known, the stabbing incident occurred on Tuesday, February 8, at around 07.00 WIB.

As a result of the stabbing, the two victims were taken to the hospital for treatment. One of the victims had a stab wound to the stomach.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kebon Jeruk Police, AKP M Trisno, said that his party had carried out the investigation of the crime scene. Even so, his party has not been able to reveal the motive for the incident because the case is still under investigation.

"We have secured the perpetrators, we have secured the evidence," he said.
