Tongue Stretching While Celebrating The Goal, Vlahovic Became Del Piero's Spotlight
JAKARTA - The new Juventus player, Dusan Vlahovic successfully recorded a perfect result in his debut for the Bianconeri. Vlahovic contributed one goal in Juventus' 2-0 win over Hellas Verona on Monday morning yesterday.
Vlahovic then became the spotlight. Not only because of his slick appearance, but also because of the way the player celebrates goals. The Serbian striker performed a celebration that is quite familiar to Old Lady fans.
Vlahovic celebrated his goal in two different ways. First, by sticking his tongue out at the Curva Sud which is exactly what Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero often does.
Second, Vlahovic celebrated by looking at the assist provider Paulo Dybala and imitating his colleague's 'mask' celebration.
Quoted from Sky Sport Italia, Tuesday, Vlahovic emphasized that what he did on the pitch during the celebration was spontaneous. It's not meant to be plagiarized.
"It was spontaneous," Vlahovic told Sky Sport Italia after the game.
Regarding the first Vlahovic celebration, this was also responded by the legend. Through his personal Instagram account, Del Piero commented on Vlahovic's celebration as he usually did especially during his last decade in Turin.
Instead of being angry, Del Piero praised Vlahovic and called the young player a fast learner. This was revealed by Del Piero while uploading a picture of Vlahovic while celebrating.
"You learn fast," Del Piero wrote on his Instagram Story.
Despite the legend's comments to Vlahovic, the Old Lady's win saw them move up to fourth place. The Bianconeri are two points clear of Atalanta who have one match in hand.
