Man Just Returned From RSJ Banyumas, Allegedly Crashed Himself Into The Train, Witness Calls Family Problem
CILACAP – Residents in Klapagada Village, Maos Sub-district, suddenly became crowded after knowing that a man had been hit by a train. Police officers, TNI, and ambulance officers who received the report immediately rushed to the location.
According to the officer's statement, the incident occurred on Monday, February 7 at around 11.48 WIB, on the KM 391+775 BH 1550 Petak Sikampuh – Maos Railway. The train with PLB number 311A Kutojaya Selatan is Kutoarjo - Kiara Condong.
Officers said the victim's name was Riyadi (29), a resident of Jalan Cisadane, Adipala, Cilacap Regency. Guntur Junaidi (43), a witness, said he had seen someone walking in the opposite direction to the train. The engineer, continued the witness, had given a warning but the victim did not heed it.
The victim died on the spot. The witness immediately informed his colleague to report to the Maos Police. Meanwhile, a witness named Ragil Agus Suhanda testified that the victim (Riyadi) had just returned from the Banyumas Mental Hospital (RSJ), Monday, January 31.
Ragil said, the victim had a history of mental illness, depression, household problems. The victim left the house at 11.00 WIB, riding a green Yamaha Mio. And at the time of the incident, said Ragil, his motorbike was left on the side of the road. Ragil suspects that the victim deliberately crashed himself into the train, has a history of mental disorders.
