DO EXO And Won Ji Ah's Romance In Korean Film Secret
JAKARTA - The production house Hive Media Corp announced that the production of the film Secret, starring DO EXO, began in November 2021 and had finished on January 21.
Secret is a Taiwanese remake of the same title that was released in 2008. This film tells the story of a music student who meets a woman on campus.
The original version stars Jay Chou and Gwei Lun Mei. The film Secret received nominations at the Hong Kong Film Awards as well as the Golden Horse Awards.
In the South Korean version, DO EXO or Doh Kyungsoo plays Yoo Joon, a music student who is good at playing the piano but is having a hard time. One day he meets Jung Ah (Won Jin Ah), a woman who enjoys playing music in the practice room at their campus.
Besides Doh Kyungsoo and Won Jin Ah, this film also stars Shin Ye Eun who plays In Hee, a violinist who is brave and confident.
On the same day, the production house Hive Media Corp released the first look of Doh Kyungsoo and Won Jin Ah. The two were seen in a music store and listening to one of the music tapes.
“It was a lot of fun filming because I got to work with such a great director and actors. I think this production will produce unforgettable emotions for the audience," said Doh Kyungsoo, quoting Soompi.
“I think I will never forget the time when I lived as Jung Ah. Please look forward to this project filled with love and music," said Won Jin Ah.
The South Korean version of Secret is directed by Seo Yoo Min who directed April Snow and Recalled. If nothing goes wrong, the film Secret will be released this year.
