Instructions From The Minister Of Home Affairs For The Mandalika MotoGP: Spectators Must PCR Test
JAKARTA - Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian issued an Instruction from the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) regarding the prevention and control of COVID-19 in the implementation of the Mandalika MotoGP, NTB.
The Minister of Home Affairs Number 8 of 2022 is valid until March 21, 2022. Meanwhile, the MotoGP itself will be held from March 18 to 20, 2022.
The Director General of Regional Administration of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Safrizal ZA, said this arrangement was intended so that the spread of COVID-19 could be controlled, both before, during, and after the entire series of events was over.
"In the Minister of Home Affairs which is valid until March 21, 2022, it is regulated about limiting the number of spectators to a maximum of 100,000 people, with a maximum capacity of 10 percent for festival classes," said Safrizal in his statement, Sunday, January 6.
There are a number of conditions that must be met by spectators who will attend the MotoGP title. Spectators must have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in two doses.
In addition, spectators are also required to bring a negative result of the 1x24 hour PCR test for people who come from outside the island of Lombok. Meanwhile, Lombok residents are allowed to have a negative result of a 2x24 hour PCR test or 1x24 hour antigen.
"The obligation of PCR and the second dose of vaccine is not only required for spectators, but also for all racers, crew, and officials who must have been vaccinated twice, and must bring a negative PCR swab test result before arrival (H-1) and perform PCR. swab test when they arrive in Lombok," said Safrizal.
Other provisions, all parties are required to conduct screening through the PeduliLindung application. Then, the local government is required to accelerate the first and second doses of vaccines to a minimum of 80 peprsen.
"The local government needs to accelerate the next dose (booster) at least one week before the Mandalika MotoGP takes place," said Safrizal.
"Then, the regional government must also provide health facilities, supporting health workers, and activate the COVID-19 handling posts at the provincial, district/city, sub-district, kelurahan/village, to RW/RT levels," he added.
