A Series Of Mistakes Apollo Bar And Lounge Sealed By Polda Metro: The Care To Protect Application Is Just A Formality
JAKARTA - Officers from the Narcotics Investigation Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya sealed the Apollo Bar and Lounge in Kuningan, South Jakarta, because it operated beyond the operational hours of the Policy for the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) on Sunday morning.
"Because it is open after operating hours, at 01.30 WIB it is still open and there are many visitors," said Director of the Narcotics Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Mukti Juharsa in Jakarta, Sunday, February 6.
In addition to violating the operating hours limits stipulated in the PPKM policy, Apollo Bar and Lounge also violates a number of health protocol rules.
"The violation is still full of guests, not complying with the prokes, operating hours are more than 24.00 WIB, many still don't wear masks, there is no social distancing, the Care for Protection application is only a formality," said Mukti.
Then, the officers conducted random urine tests on 10 employees and bar visitors with all negative results.
During the inspection, officers also confiscated several types of alcoholic beverages that were suspected of not having a distribution permit and sealed the bar with a police line.
"I was immediately on the police line because he had violated the clock, if not tomorrow he will keep repeating it," he said
After the sealing was carried out, the Metro Jaya Police Narcotics Directorate team then brought the manager, cashier, and bar security to the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters for questioning.
Officers also visited several locations, including the Embassy Club and Raia in Senayan, and Chao Chao in SCBD. However, the three locations have been closed according to operating hours and no violations were found.
The patrol of the enforcement of the health protocols of the Drugs and Drugs Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police lasted until 02.30 WIB, but there were no more night entertainment venues that committed violations.
