BUMN Recipient Of Professional PMN Yes, Mrs. Sri Mulyani Keeping An Eye On You!

JAKARTA - Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani Indrawati and Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono witnessed the signing of a Letter of Commitment (LoC) or performance contract for the distribution of State Equity Participation (PMN) in 2021 amounting to Rp25.2 trillion.

According to the Minister of Finance, this signing was carried out in order to realize accountability of the funds that have been given to SOEs that have received government assignments.

"We have taken joint steps with the Ministry of SOEs to ensure that all APBN budgets in the form of PMNs must be accompanied by performance contracts so that the accountability of each becomes clearer and is linked to national priorities," he said in a statement during a working visit to North Sumatra, Friday, February 4th.

Meanwhile, the signing was carried out by the President Director of the State Asset Management Institute (LMAN), the President Director of PT Hutama Karya, and the President Director of PT Waskita Karya Tbk,.

The three are the Public Service Agency (BLU) and BUMN recipients of PMN as part of the APBN distributed by the Ministry of Finance.

"This PMN will be used to finance land acquisition by LMAN and the implementation of construction by Hutama Karya and Waskita Karya in the context of accelerating infrastructure development, including the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) project," he said.

For information, in 2022 Hutama Karya will again get PMN of Rp23.85 trillion. Meanwhile, LMAN received a mandate for PMN allocation of Rp. 28.84 trillion to finance land acquisition for various National Strategic Project (PSN) infrastructures.

Of this allocation, as much as Rp. 24.08 trillion was mandated to finance land acquisition for the toll road sector, including JTTS.

"This PMN is APBN money that comes from the community, so the benefits must be felt by the community again," said the Minister of Finance.

On this occasion, the Minister of Finance emphasized that the use of the State Budget upholds governance and integrity, so that the State Budget can become an instrument to move the wheels of the economy and improve people's welfare.
