Preventing Judges Alone, Police Will Visit The House Of The Suspected Rape Case For A 4-Year-Old Child In Koja

JAKARTA - Head of North Jakarta Police Reskim AKBP Dwi Prasetyo Wibowo said he would send his members to the location of the alleged rape case of a minor, N (4), in the Koja area, North Jakarta (Jakut). This is done to prevent vigilantism from local residents.

"Yes, I will definitely ask my members to check the location, which is definitely not allowed," said Prasetyo when contacted, Thursday, February 4, evening.

Prasetyo explained that regardless of the type of crime the alleged perpetrator took, taking the law into his own hands was not justified. According to him, there is a legal mechanism for everything.

"There is a legal mechanism, it can't be arbitrary," he explained.

He admitted that he would seek cases of sexual abuse and rape of minors. Because it is the attention of the police.

"It's not that we don't want to pursue its progress. We are pursuing the progress, which we will definitely pay attention to, tomorrow I will check again," he said.

Eka, the local RW administrator, said that residents had visited the perpetrator's house. Because, continued Eka, residents were suspicious and felt sad to see the victim.

"(So the information) has been passed by word of mouth. What is the name of the village woman. Maybe word of mouth has become popular. So people have started to know, when they want to hit, they are angry. I just can't stand it." explained Eka when contacted, Thursday, January 4, evening.

Previously, IN (50) was reported to the North Jakarta Police for the alleged rape of N (4). This incident was revealed after the victim complained to her brother, TA (47) about pain in her organs.

According to information obtained, the alleged rape of the victim occurred at the suspect's house in the Koja area, North Jakarta.

SH, the victim's mother, who was suffering from a stroke and impaired vision, left her child with her ex-husband because of his physical limitations. But instead of getting love, the victim was raped.

“Because her mother had a stroke and it ran to the brain, so her eyesight was reduced. We think that person, the ex-husband of the victim's mother, wants to take care of the victim. Because I want to take care of (the victim)," said Eka, a local RW administrator when contacted, Thursday, January 3.
