Tail Confiscated Citizen's Motorcycle Without Letter Of Duty, Bripka Asep Nuroni Detained
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya stated that they had detained Bripka Asep Nuroni who was suspected of abusing his authority when he confiscated a motorbike belonging to a resident. Detention is carried out for the purpose of examination.
"He has been detained until today," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Thursday, January 3.
Not only detention, Bripka Asep also has to undergo an examination by the Propam Polda Metro Jaya. Because, his actions are considered a violation of ethics and profession.
"Currently the person concerned is undergoing an examination at the Polda Metro Jaya Propam," said Zulpan.
Although describing the handling of Bripka Asep, Zulpan did not elaborate on the other six people. Where, they are also involved in the motor confiscation process.
In fact, in the series of incidents they claimed to be members of the Police.
For information, members of the Subbagrenmin Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, Bripka Asep Nuroni, and six other people who are civilians were arrested by residents when they were about to confiscate a motorbike. Because they do not have an official letter of assignment.
Their action began when Bripka Asep and friends who claimed to be members of the National Police were about to confiscate Arif's motorbike in Sorongan Village, Cibaliung District, Pandeglang, Saturday, January 29.
However, when asked about the withdrawal assignment letter, they could not show it. Thus, angered the residents who eventually beat him.
Furthermore, Bripka Asep and his friends were immediately taken to the Pandeglang Police of the Banten Police. They are examined intensively.
