Bobby Rides A Vespa, Akhyar Chooses Cycling As A List Of Candidates For Medan Mayor
MEDAN - Akhyar Nasution-Salman Alfarisi chose to cycle to the KPU office in Medan, North Sumatra. The 'Aman' pair registered the nominations for the mayor-deputy mayor of Medan.

Deputy Chairman of the Akhyar-Salman winning team, Suwandi Purba, previously said that the choice of cycling was decided because of Akhyar's memory in the past. According to Suwandi, Akhyar always pedaled a bicycle to his campus at the University of North Sumatra.
Akhyar in his previous candidacy declaration said that he was not running with Salman just to show himself. The Acting Mayor of Medan wants sustainable change in Medan.
"So we go forward for mayors and mayors not just to show off. If we are proud, we are all brave, I am the Acting Mayor, Pak Salman, the representative of the Provincial DPRD. We want to donate ourselves to residents of Medan City, "he said.
According to him, Medan's condition must be improved. Akhyar who is promoted by PKS and Democrats wants to create Medan Cantik.
“Medan is characterized by a comfortable, happy city for its citizens. This beautiful Medan vision is actually the idea to make Medan beautiful. If our city is beautiful, many people come, do many activities, surely people will be happy. Many people come shopping, lots of business and our income increases, ”he continued.
In addition, Akhyar reminded volunteers and political parties to be careful in fighting during the campaign. Akhyar asked his supporters not to get caught up in the debate.
Meanwhile, the challenger to Akhyar-Salman in the Medan Pilkada, Bobby Nasution-Aulia Rachman first registered his candidacy with the Medan KPU, Friday, September 4. Bobby-Aulia wore a denim jacket and rode a Vespa to the Medan KPU office.
"The reason for driving a Vespa, it's our daily vehicle. We struggle to use what we use everyday, ”said Bobby.
