COVID-19 Cases In Central Jakarta Increase, Total BOR In Hospital Reaches 73 Percent

JAKARTA - Head of the Central Jakarta Health Sub-department, Erizon Safari, stated that the bed occupancy rate (BOR) for hospitals (RS) in Central Jakarta has increased to 73 percent.

"Covid-19 cases continue to show an increase. So far, there have been 73 percent of BOR at the Central Jakarta Hospital," Erizon told reporters, Thursday, February 3.

Furthermore, Erizon detailed the ICU isolation BOR reached 30.7 percent. Currently, the BOR level is more occupied by government-owned hospitals.

Responding to the depletion of bed occupancy rate (BOR), Central Jakarta Mayor Dhany Sukma asked residents who were positive for COVID-19 to self-isolate (Isoman) at home.

"We don't underestimate the COVID-19 case. If residents are asymptomatic or only have mild symptoms, it is better to solve it with isoman in their respective homes," he told reporters, Thursday, February 3.

Dhany said that in the future residents who do isoman at home can still consult online for health. In this application, residents can consult with health workers such as health centers.

"There will be an online consultation consultation with health workers. This is to overcome the availability of hospital capacity," he said.
