Twitter Brings Blog Copy Feature, Can Tweet More Than 280 Characters
JAKARTA - Twitter is claimed to be making its platform like a blog, allowing users to upload tweets with longer characters.
The new format, dubbed Articles, was first spotted by tech writer and scout for upcoming Twitter features, Jane Manchun Wong.
"Twitter is working on "Twitter Articles" and the ability to create them within Twitter. New long format possibilities on Twitter," tweeted @wongmjane.

However, Jane's tweet did not provide further information regarding the new feature. Judging by the name, it is believed that users will be able to post tweets that will exceed Twitter's 280 character limit.
Of course this feature is very useful for uploading announcements, blog-like posts or broad comments, which can be easily shared by others on the platform.
Knowing this feature went viral, Twitter did not deny the existence of the Articles feature. "We're always looking for new ways to help people start and engage in conversation on Twitter. We'll be sharing more about our work here soon," a Twitter spokesperson told CNET.
Even so, it is not yet known exactly when the new feature will launch, and there is also speculation that Articles may be exclusive to Twitter Blue subscribers.
