Lectures Considered Supporting Domestic Violence, Oki Setiana Dewi Protested By Warganet

JAKARTA - Oki Setiana Dewi, was attacked by netizens due to a post containing some of her lectures on Tiktok deemed to support domestic violence (domestic violence) by citizens. The post was uploaded to Twitter by the @bijikambingg account which showed a 1 minute 47 second video.

By wearing a red hijab and brown clothes, Oki tells a true story of a married couple in Jeddah.

"The husband and wife were fighting. The husband was extremely angry with his wife and the wife was hit in the face. His wife was crying, suddenly the doorbell rang. In a puffy state, the wife opened the door, it turned out to be his wife's mother. Her husband was excited from a distance," said Oki.

Oki continued his lecture that the incident could have cornered the husband because his father-in-law suddenly came and found that his son was crying. However, the story turned out not to be the case because the wife covered it by reasoning that she missed her parents so much that she shed tears.

"Her husband is from a distance, oh God, she's a wife. Even though the wife can complain to her parents. I just got hit, there was domestic violence, my husband, right if the woman talks about it, people like to exaggerate when they are angry. it melts. Oh God, my wife saves my disgrace, so the more love for the husband to the wife, so there is no need for stories that vilify our partner," he added.
