KPK Receives 627 LHKPN From Prospective Regional Head Candidates

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) until Thursday, September 3, received 627 Wealth Reports of State Administrators (LHKPN) prospective regional head candidates who will participate in the 2020 Pilkada.

"As many as 493 have been verified with complete status and received receipts, the rest are still waiting for the completeness of the documents," said Acting KPK spokesman for Prevention Ipi Maryati Kuding through her statement in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Friday, September 4.

Ipi said the KPK again reminded prospective regional head candidates who had not submitted their assets to submit immediately, considering the time needed to verify and complete supporting documents.

"In addition, the KPK also reminded prospective candidates to follow the LHKPN filling stages in an orderly manner. Until yesterday, the KPK also recorded a total of 770 registered LHKPN e-filling accounts as prospective regional head candidates," said Ipi.

Regarding the e-filling account, he continued, the KPK appealed to candidates who have had an e-filling account not to create a new account, but simply request to reactivate their account by sending an email to infopemilu.lhkpn@kpk.go.id by mentioning their name and Identity Number (NIK).

"If you do not have an account, please fill out the activation form and send the signed form to the KPK by post. The KPK will immediately activate the account and candidates can start filling out the LHKPN," he said.

The KPK also reminded prospective regional heads to fill in correctly their personal information such as name, NIK, telephone number and email address.

He said notifications related to the activation of e-filling accounts, usernames and passwords would be sent via registered phone numbers. Likewise, if there is an error filling in assets or lack of documents and an LHKPN receipt will be sent via email.

"It is understood that filling out the e-filling activation form does not mean that the candidate has filled in the e-LHKPN so that they are entitled to receive a receipt," said Ipi.

In addition, the KPK also asks prospective regional head candidates to complete their wealth reports completely, correctly, and honestly because the transparency and integrity of regional head candidates starts from being open in reporting assets honestly.
