Traces Of Adam Deni Suspect Of Illegal Access, Jerinx's Enemy And Called Similar To Men Pointing Middle Finger At Jokowi

JAKARTA - Investigators from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police have named social media activist Adam Deni as a suspect in the alleged case of illegal access. Adam Deni was reported on January 27 and registered with the number LP/B/0040/I/2022/SPKT/Dittipidsiber of the National Police Criminal Investigation Department.

"He has been a suspect, since last night he was detained and arrested as a suspect," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, Wednesday, February 2.

Prior to his arrest, Adam Deni had a controversial track record. One of them was related to his feud with I Gede Aryastina alias Jerinx. The feud between Jerinx and Adam Deni was a scene and was widely reported by the mass media.

The conflict between the two began when Deni was keen to comment on Jerinx's Instagram regarding evidence of Indonesian artists who received endorsements to claim to be positive for COVID-19. Not long after that comment, Jerinx's account suddenly disappeared.

Jerinx accuses Deni of being the mastermind behind the disappearance of the @jrxsid account because the person concerned - still according to Jerinx's confession - has the ability in Information Technology (IT).

Accused of this, Deni swears that he is not the mastermind behind the disappearance of the Instagram account. Through his Instagram account, Adam Deni admitted that he received threats and insults from Jerinx.

Jerinx later apologized by telephone for the threat. Nora Alexandra, the wife of Jerinx, confirmed that her husband had apologized and hoped that this case would not go to court.

Adam Deni then consulted with his attorney and contacted Nora Alexandra with the intention of making peace. There is only a condition in peace, namely that Jerinx must apologize to the community for making this pandemic worse. However, this request was rejected. Adam Deni admits that he has been cursed and humiliated again.

Similar to a man holding up his middle finger to President Jokowi

In the follow-up hearing of the case of threatening himself against Adam Deni at the Central Jakarta District Court, January 25, 2022, Jerinx asked the police to thoroughly investigate a photo of a man suspected of being Adam Deni who raised his middle finger at President Jokowi. According to Jerinx, this photo of a man who looks like Adam Deni is currently being discussed in Bali.

"On the Instagram of the Balinese character, Niluh Djelantik, there is a photo of AD and it has been acknowledged that Dr. Tirta is AD. So I ask the police to be fair so they can be processed," said Jerinx.

Separately, Adam Deni said that the man Jerinx was referring to was not him because he only mentioned AD's initials. It could be someone else who has the initials AD.

"Did he say Adam Deni? If the initials AD are ADG, my name is Adam Deni Gearaka, right. If it's no comment, it's because he didn't say my name, so I want to comment," explained Adam Deni.

In the case of Adam Deni, investigators have also examined a number of witnesses and experts in the process of handling this case. "The witnesses who have been examined are 4 people and 8 experts. ITE and criminal expert witnesses," he said.

The police have named social media activist Adam Deni as a suspect in the alleged illegal access case. Adam Deni was previously arrested by the National Police Criminal Investigation Team.

"It's a suspect. We are waiting for 1x24 hours to see if an arrest is made, we will wait again," Karo Penmas of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan told reporters, Wednesday, February 2.
