Meutya Hafid: The House Of Representatives Commission I Meeting Has A Week Off Because A Number Of Members Were Exposed To COVID-19
JAKARTA - Chair of the Indonesian House of Representatives Commission I Meutya Hafid has canceled commission meetings for the next week because a number of council members were exposed to COVID-19.
"This week's Commission I has no agenda for a meeting within the DPR. I along with five other members of Commission I have tested positive for COVID-19," Meutya said as quoted from her official Twitter account @meutya_hafid in Jakarta, Tuesday, February 1.
Apart from commission members, as reported by Antara, there were also three members of the secretariat of Commission I who were exposed to COVID-19. The meeting will be held again next week.
"Take care of your health and let's tighten the health protocols," said Meutya.
As of Tuesday, February 1, as many as 4,814 patients who were confirmed positive for the corona virus (COVID-19) were still being treated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Emergency Hospital, Jakarta.
"The number of patients has increased by 224," said Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, head of Information for the Joint Defense Region I Command, in Jakarta, Tuesday.
In a week, from Tuesday January 25 to Tuesday February 1, there were 1,875 additional patients.
