The total recorded visitors at TMII, on Tuesday, February 1, were 3,000 people during the Lunar New Year holiday.
TMII Executive Director, I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana said the number of visitors was based on incoming data until 14.00 WIB.
"The Mini Park on February 1, right on the Lunar New Year's Day, the total number of visitors from 06.00 WIB until this afternoon is almost 3,000," said I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana in Jakarta, as quoted by Antara.
Sedana added that visitors who come to TMII during the Lunar New Year holiday are not only for vacation.
Some of them came to perform Chinese New Year prayers at the Kong Miao Temple located in the TMII area.
"We saw some visitors exercising in the field, to the pavilion, and some going to the temple to carry out Chinese New Year worship," said Sedana.
