The Story Of Firefighters Rescuing A Kitten From The Mouth Of A Gallon Of Drinking Water
JAKARTA - Firefighters (Damkar) Sector Cengkareng, West Jakarta rescued a kitten caught in the mouth of a gallon of drinking water.
"Four Gulkarmat personnel were deployed to evacuate the kittens by cutting gallons using a grinding tool," said Head of West Jakarta Gulkarmat Operations Section Eko Sumarno in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Friday, September 4.
The poor kitten was found by two youths from Jalan Lingkungan III RT 013 RW 03 Tegal Alur, Kalideres, West Jakarta, Thursday, September 3 evening.
One of the young men, Ferman Syahron, asked Gulkarmat officers to remove a kitten that was stuck.
The rescue started at 17.30 WIB and the cats were successfully evacuated at 18.00 WIB.
During the evacuation process, a fire officer cut the edge of the gallon slowly using a grinder.
Then a spoon is placed on the kitten's neck so that it does not get burred when it is evacuated. The kitten was quite calm during the evacuation process, making it easier for officers.
Finally, the poor kitten was successfully removed by the officer from the gallon of drinking water.
