Singapore Airlines Opens Singapore-Bali Route, 5-Star Hotel Quarantine Rates For Tourists Reaches Tens Of Millions
DENPASAR - Direct flights to Bali from Singapore and Japan began to open in February with Singapore Airlines and Garuda Indonesia. Bali is ready with quarantine hotels for tourists from abroad.
Head of the Tourism Marketing Division (Kabid) of the Bali Tourism Office, Ida Ayu Indah, said the five bubble hotels for quarantine were in the Nusa Dua Grant Hyatt, Nusa Dua and Westin Resort areas.
Then in the Jimbaran area, namely the Royal Tulip Hotel. Meanwhile in Sanur, Denpasar, there is the Griya Santrian Hotel. Another hotel in Gianyar Regency is Hotel Viceroy.
"Five hotels have entered the bubble hotel quarantine or (quarantine) in the hotel area. Because the hotels are on average five stars," Ayu Indah said, Monday, January 31.
The five hotels have prepared different facilities between regular guests and quarantine guests. The swimming pool and dining area are separated.
"Then the hotel employee did not return to his home, he stayed at the hotel. He was also quarantined to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The food is a bit expensive," Ayu Indah added.
Quarantine for 7 days is set at IDR 12 million. However, this price is still an estimate. It all depends on the latest central government policy when direct flights from Singapore start to open.
"There is no information from the industry (price for five days of quarantine). But that's for (Japan flights) Narita, it's February 3, it's still valid for 7 days, that's around Rp. 12 million. That is complete with laundry fees, three meals, including the cost of the PCR test, including insurance, including cooperation with the COVID-19 referral hospital," he explained.
