Army Chief Of Staff Supports Commitment To Making RSPAD A World-Class Military Hospital

JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Dudung Abdurachman is committed to making the RSPAD a world class military hospital.

This commitment is shown through various efforts to improve and improve the quality of health services at the Army Central Hospital (RSPAD) Gatot Soebroto.

This was conveyed by Dudung when giving a speech at the acceptance of medical device grants at the Excellence Service Room of the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Monday, January 31.

In his remarks, the Army Chief of Staff conveyed the grants of various types of medical devices from the Mandala Metta Caritas Foundation, the Ministry of Industry, and Bank Indonesia as a form of support from various parties to improve services at the RSPAD.

The Army Central Hospital in Jakarta received 1,420 oxygen cylinders with a capacity of 40 liters and two oxygen concentrator units from the Mandala Metta Caritas Foundation, as well as a set of oxygen concentrators from Bank Indonesia.

RSPAD also received the transfer of ownership of medical devices from the Ministry of Industry which includes 104 beds with two cranks (2 cranks), 126 beds with three cranks (3 cranks), and 846 sets of oxygen concentrators with a 10 liter capacity.

"As the Army Chief of Staff and personally, I express my gratitude and highest appreciation to all parties for the trust given to the Indonesian Army in the form of this grant," said Dudung when receiving the assistance at Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital as quoted in a written broadcast. He conveyed that the assistance of medical devices could strengthen the health services of the RSPAD, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. RSPAD is one of the referral hospitals for COVID-19 patients since the beginning of the pandemic until now. General Dudung continued to invite all parties to increase unity in dealing with the CPVID-19 pandemic and various national problems.

"I invite all of us to continue to increase cooperation and work hand in hand in helping to overcome various problems faced by the Indonesian nation today, not only limited to health problems, but also other crucial issues concerning the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia," he said. The handover of medical equipment at the RSPAD was also attended by the Head of the Gatot Soebroto RSPAD, Lt. Gen. TNI, dr.
