Four Months Expo 2020 Dubai, Indonesia Pavilion Successfully Attracts 750,000 Visitors
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) claims that the Indonesian Pavilion has successfully attracted around 750,000 visitors in the fourth month of the Expo 2020 Dubai event.
The Director General of National Export Development and the Commissioner General of the Indonesian Pavilion Didi Sumedi said the success could not be separated from the potential of the trade, investment and tourism sectors offered by Indonesia.
"We are proud of this result because it is the fruit of good collaboration between ministries and institutions that always present interesting activities every week," he said in a press statement today, Monday, January 31.
According to Didi, the Indonesian Pavilion is strengthened by 21 ministries and institutions that present investment opportunities through 193 activities in the form of business forums, one-on-one meetings, and seminars for Middle East and world market business players.
In addition, the Indonesian Pavilion has also exhibited more than 595 products of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) ready for export.
"A variety of cultural performances are also held every day on the stage of the Indonesian Pavilion," he said.
Furthermore, Didi explained that the Indonesian Pavilion is also one of the recommended pavilions to visit in the Opportunity District Expo 2020 Dubai area.
Meanwhile, one area that amazes visitors is the zone area which displays 23 types of Indonesian spices. This spice is displayed through the thousands of resins in The Great Wall of Spice.
"The visitors of the Indonesian Pavilion who are interested in the natural beauty of culture and the promising trade potential will continue to encourage us to consistently display the extraordinary potential of the nation to the world's eyes," concluded Didi.
