JAKARTA - Two former employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) have passed the first stage of candidates for members of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Board of Commissioners for the 2022-2027 period.
The passing of the two former KPK employees was announced by the selection committee through a letter numbered PENG-02/PANSEL-DKOJK/2022 signed by the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani as Chair of the Selection Committee. There are 155 names passed from various backgrounds.
The two former KPK employees who were declared to have passed stage one or the administrative selection of candidates for the OJK Board of Commissioners are Giri Suprapdiono and Iguh Purba.
While still working at the KPK, Iguh Purba used to be the Head of the Investigating Task Force (Kasatgas) at the KPK.
Meanwhile, Giri served as Director of Anti-Corruption Campaign and Socialization. However, he was expelled from the KPK because he did not pass the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK) so he could not become a state civil servant (ASN).
In addition to the two names, there is also the name of Pahala Nainggolan who is currently still serving as the Deputy of Prevention and Monitoring of the KPK. After passing, the three names along with hundreds of others had to carry out the next stage of selection.
"All prospective members of the OJK DK who pass the Phase I Selection (Administrative Selection) will take part in the Phase II Selection (Assessment of Input from the Community, Track Records, and Papers)," the letter was quoted as saying.
Later, the results of the second stage of selection will be announced through the selection sites-dkojk.kemenkeu.go.id, www.kemenkeu.go.id, and www.bi.go.id. This announcement will be made after 16 February or after the end of the period for submitting input and/or information from the public.
