JAKARTA - Viral on social media is a video showing a young man lying at the Gelora Bung Karno bus stop. Police said the young man was the victim of a stabbing.
In the video uploaded to the @JURNALWARGA Instagram account, a young man is seen wearing a black jacket. He was lying at the bus stop with a wound on his leg.
Tanah Abang Police Chief Kompol Haris Kurniawan said the young man was lying at the Gelora Bung Karno Bus Stop due to an accident. However, before the accident occurred, the young man was chased by several people riding three motorbikes.
"So the story was that it was lying, it turned out that they had an accident hitting the pavement. So they hacked it, after we took it to the hospital, we asked how it was hacked (apparently, ed) before the scene, still in the South Jakarta area," Haris said when contacted on Sunday. , January 30.
From the results of the examination, it was also revealed that previously the young man and two of his colleagues rode on a motorcycle around South Jakarta. However, for no apparent reason they were chased by three motorbikes.
In fact, one of the three youths was stabbed in the head. However, at that time they did not stop the vehicle and chose to continue driving towards Jalan Jenderal Sudirman.
"Maybe they broke into the group that didn't dare to chase, maybe they swerved and hit the sidewalk," said Haris.
"The others (two people, ed) were broken, if the one who was stabbed was one," he continued.
Allegedly, the youths were targeted by a gang of criminals. In addition, there are allegations that they are indeed being targeted by the perpetrators.
"It's stolen, but so far nothing has been lost. The motorbikes are still the same, they are suspected of being stolen or 351 (persecution, ed) at the very least," said Haris.
Currently, the three youths have been taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, regarding the handling of the case, the police are still waiting for an official report from the victim.
