Friends Of Ganjar Hold National Work Meeting In Bali, Strengthen Volunteer Support Throughout Indonesia And Abroad
DENPASAR - The Central Executive Board of Friends of Ganjar, which is a volunteer group for the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo, continues to provide support to Ganjar Pranowo so that he can run as a presidential candidate in the 2024 Presidential Election.
"We from the grassroots will continue to step up, listen and then accommodate so that the people who love and hope that Mr. Ganjar becomes president can actually be realized," said the Board of Trustees of Friends of Ganjar Khayatul Makki during the National Working Meeting I Sahabat Ganjar, in Denpasar, Bali quoted Between, Sunday, January 30th.
Khyatul Makki said that his party gave support to Ganjar Pranowo, because he was considered a figure who would be able to continue President Joko Widodo's programs.
"Friends of Ganjar have been formed in 34 provinces and also formed in as many as 275 DPCs in regencies and cities throughout Indonesia and in several countries outside Indonesia. We will continue to move and move," he said.
Khayatul Makki revealed, Friends of Ganjar really hope that in the future the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) can also carry Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.
Friends of Ganjar volunteers are also trying to get a persuasive approach to PDIP so they can carry Ganjar Pranowo.
"Because Pak Ganjar Pranowo's party when running for governor was PDIP. Then we will also encourage other parties to also be able to support Ganjar Pranowo, both Islamic and nationalist affiliated parties," said Khayatul Makki.
The chairman of the Friends of Ganjar DPW, Bali Province, I Made Teja, said that the implementation of the I Sahabat Ganjar National Working Meeting in the Island of the Gods was a form of support for Ganjar Pranowo's volunteers for the recovery of the economic and tourism sectors in Bali, which were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
His party will also make various efforts to garner public support for Ganjar Pranowo so that he can run as a presidential candidate in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
"Hopefully later after returning from Bali, each DPW and other DPC regions can also voice and inflame Ganjar Pranowo as a presidential candidate," he added.
