Seconds Of A Climber Lost In Mount Haruman Garut, The Victim Had Said To Get Lost To His Mother Via WA
JAKARTA - One climber was reported missing on Mount Haruman, Garut Regency. The search was carried out by a joint SAR team since 17:15 WIB.
Head of the Search and Rescue Office or the Bandung National SAR Agency (Basarnas) Deden Ridwansah in Garut, Saturday, said the team had been dispatched to look for people lost in the mountains, equipped with search equipment.
"A rescue team has left for the scene at 17.15 WIB after coordinating with the Cibiuk Police," said Deden, Saturday, January 29.
The SAR team is equipped with special equipment to search for missing persons in the forest or mountains, plus communication tools, medical equipment, and personal protective equipment.
Deden said the team moved to the field after receiving a report that a man named Muhammad Kamaludin (26) from Cibiuk Kaler, Garut Regency was lost on Mount Haruman.
The young man reportedly left home with camping equipment and traveled to Mount Haruman alone, Wednesday, January 26.
Furthermore, the young man informed his mother via a short WhatsApp (WA) message, Friday, January 28, that he was lost on Mount Haruman and needed help.
After informing him of his condition, the family could no longer contact him, then he reported it to the police and carried out a search, but could not find him.
