Bahlil Pede Reaches Investment Target Of IDR 1,200 Trillion, Will Form Teams To Work In The UAE, China, South Korea, Japan, To America
JAKARTA - Investment Minister/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Bahlil Lahadalia is confident (confident) that he can achieve the investment realization target given by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) of IDR 1,200 trillion. Previously, Bahlil managed to exceed the target of IDR 900 trillion in 2021.
Bahlil admits that achieving the target of Rp. 1,200 trillion is not an easy thing to achieve. But he is optimistic that he can achieve it.
"It will not be easy going forward, but I believe that with the experience of two years 2020 and 2021, there will be a change in the pattern of regulation through the Job Creation Act and the level of global demand for Indonesian natural resources. I am sure that because the President is very consistent in building downstreaming, the target of Rp1 We can achieve .200 trillion," he said at a virtual press conference, Thursday, January 27.
Bahlil said that to realize the realization of the investment of Rp. 1,200 trillion, the Ministry of Investment or BKPM has prepared three strategies. First, maximize the investment potential with permits and facilities that have been carried out.
"Yesterday I said that several companies have received incentives of approximately Rp. 2,000 trillion. This will be the most important part, it will be our priority," he explained.
The second strategy, continued Bahlil, is the party that will pursue investments that will start to be launched in early 2021 and mid. The government will also encourage the construction of accelerated development from the plan.
For example, said Bahlil, building a factory that should have taken 36 months has been moved forward to 30 months.
"This means it can accelerate the realization in increasing the realization rate," he said.
Finally, Bahlil continued, his party will form a team to persuade foreign investors from various countries to invest in the country.
"The third is that we will continue to fight globally. Because our country's financial capacity in the banks will definitely decrease. Certainly not enough to increase the realization of our investment of Rp. 1,200 trillion. So I will form a team that will work to compete in several countries including in United Arab Emirates, China, Korea, Japan and America," he said.
