Minister Of Home Affairs: Every Region Must Have A Public Service Mall
JAKARTA – The Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Muhammad Tito Karnavian encourages the existence of public service malls (MPP) in every region.
Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian said the existence of the MPP, which makes it easier for the community to take care of various administrations, is proof that the state is present in providing easy and transparent services.
"What I have met are that there are several provinces, not one of which has a public service mall. We are now pushing for this," said Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian in a statement received in Jakarta Thursday, January 27.
The former National Police Chief explained the MPP's existence in accordance with the direction of President Joko Widodo and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin who wanted the public to get the best service from the government.
Through the one-roof MPP, according to Minister of Home Affairs, Tito, it is hoped that all public services can be in one place.
"It has been a directive and an order from the president and vice president (to us), who were also given the task of making public service malls really operate in Indonesia," said the Minister of Home Affairs.
The presence of MPP is expected to be part of public service reform to provide simple and uncomplicated services. That way, people will get convenience, speed, affordability, security, and convenience in accessing services.
"The important value is to make it easier for the public that the country is present, their services are easy, clear, then transparent, and open," said the Minister of Home Affairs.
The MPP development is one of the steps in an effort to accelerate bureaucratic reform. Therefore, the government encourages all regions to develop MPP in order to improve the quality of public services.
Because, he said, the existence of the MPP, which puts forward the principles of integration, efficiency, accountability, accessibility, and convenience, can facilitate various community affairs.
