Soak with vinegar

Vinegar has a strong acid content so it can remove pesticides while getting rid of germs and bacteria present in fruits and vegetables. How to wash vegetables and fruit with vinegar water is quite easy. You only need to prepare a bowl of water, then add two to three tablespoons of vinegar. After that, wash the fruits and vegetables again thoroughly under running water.

Baking soda

In addition to vinegar, baking soda powder is also an effective alternative to remove residual pesticides on fruits and vegetables. It's easy, mix baking soda into a container filled with water, then soak the fruit and vegetables for 15 minutes. Remove then rinse until clean.

Soak in salt water

Perhaps this method is most practiced by mothers at home. Salt water baths are very effective at removing residual pesticides. Prepare a bowl of water, dissolve the salt in it, then put the vegetables or fruits that will be consumed in the salt water for 20 minutes.
