Serpong-Cinere Toll Road Targeted For Feasibility Test In Second Quarter 2022

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk through its subsidiary PT Cinere Serpong Jaya (CSJ) targets the Functional Feasibility Test (ULF) for the Serpong-Cinere Toll Road Section II of the Pamulang-Cinere Section in the first Quarter of 2022.

The President Director of PT CSJ Mirza Nurul Handayani explained that the ULF process was the last stage in a series of progress on the construction of the Serpong Cinere Toll Road for the Pamulang-Cinere Section before it was operated and can be used by the public.

"The construction progress of the Serpong Cinere Toll Road for the Pamulang-Cinere section has been completed since last November 2021 and is currently still in the Temporary Handover (PHO) process. We hope that ULF can be implemented in the first quarter of 2022 to ensure the feasibility of toll roads starting from inspection of facilities and infrastructure, road markings, to their operations," Mirza said in a written statement, quoted from Antara, Thursday, January 27.

PT CSJ as the manager of the Serpong-Cinere Toll Road has completed the construction of Section II of the 3.64 km Pamulang-Cinere toll road. Furthermore, PT CSJ targets to enter the Function Feasibility Test (ULF) stage which is targeted to be carried out in the First Quarter of 2022.

ULF is implemented to ensure that all technical requirements and road completeness on the road are in accordance with traffic management and safety standards. ULF activities are carried out by an evaluation team consisting of elements from the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing, the Ministry of Transportation to the Police through the Korlantas Polri.

With the readiness of facilities and operational services that have been prepared by PT CSJ for the Serpong Cinere Toll Road, the Pamulang-Cinere section, Mirza is optimistic that he will pass the ULF stage. Regarding the schedule for the operation of this section, Mirza explained, the operation target is adjusted to the completion of the construction work of the Cinere-Jagorawi Toll Road, the Limo-Kukusan Section, which is managed by PT Translingkar Kita Jaya.

This is because the end of the main road of the Serpong Cinere Toll Road, the Pamulang-Cinere section at Km 35+250 will be connected directly to the main road from the Cinere-Jagorawi Toll Road, the Cinere-Limo section. If these two sections are connected, the closest exit access for road users is the Limo Toll Gate (GT) which will be operated by PT TLKJ.

"The increase in vehicle LHR will increase given the potential for road users from the Bogor, Ciawi and surrounding areas (Jagorawi Toll Road) as well as from the South Jakarta and Depok (Desari Toll Road) areas who can easily and quickly access the Serpong, Kunciran areas to Soekarno-Hatta Airport. through the JORR 2 Toll Road," said Mirza.

In line with Mirza, Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head Dwimawan Heru also reminded road users that since April 2021, the Cengkareng-Batuceper-Kunciran Toll Road and Serpong-Cinere Toll Road have been operated and connected the Kunciran-Serpong Toll Road which has been operated. first operating in 2019. The three toll roads that are included in the JORR 2 Toll Road network add alternatives to and from Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

The Serpong Cinere Toll Road, the Pamulang-Cinere toll road, will complement the Serpong-Pamulang toll road which was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo and operated in April 2021. The Serpong-Cinere Toll Road has a total length of 10.14 km, consisting of Section I of the Serpong-Pamulang section of 6.5 km and Section II of the Pamulang Cinere section of 3.64 km.
