Viral Bule Hits Avsec Officer And Police At Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport For Missing The Plane, Jordanian Citizen Is The Culprit
DENPASAR - Caucasians who were recorded hitting Avsec officers and police at I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Bali apparently were foreign nationals from Jordan. The foreigner named MDN Naji was furious because he missed his flight.
"It was a case of misunderstanding that resulted in the beating," said Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police Iptu Ketut Sukadi, Thursday, January 27.
This incident occurred on Tuesday, January 25 at around 19.40 WITA at gate 5 of the departure terminal of Ngurah Rai Airport. At that time, Naji and his wife and children and a number of other people were going to Jakarta. This group uses the Lion Air airline.
At that time, Naji and his entourage were already waiting in the waiting room to get on the plane. However, there was no call for the passengers.
Naji also asked Lion Air, who answered that the plane had already flown. Naji was emotional because he admitted that he did not hear the call for the passengers.
"Because he received bad treatment from Lion Air officers and did not get a good explanation, the person concerned became emotional and wanted to enter the Lion Air office, but was still blocked by the Lion Air avsec on duty at that time," added Sukadi.
During an argument, this Jordanian Caucasian hit 2 Avsec officers and an airport police officer.
The victim, Akhmad Tio Irawan, an Avsec officer, was hit in the back of the neck. Meanwhile, I Nyoman Sudiasa was hit in the mouth, while a member of the Indonesian National Police Gatut Suryadi was punched in the cheek. After that, this incident was mediated at the Ngurah Rai Airport Police Station.
"The result of the mediation is that the three victims will not question Naji's beating and will not proceed to legal action," said Sukadi.
Meanwhile, Naji admitted his guilt and apologized to the three victims for the beatings he did.
"Even though the plan is that after flying from Bali to Jakarta the next day he will go to Jordan to see and see his mother, who is seriously ill," he said.
