Daily Cases Of COVID-19 In Lampung Increase By 9 People, Spread In 4 Regencies/Cities

LAMPUNG - The Lampung Health Office noted that the daily positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province increased by nine patients and spread to four districts and cities.

"With the addition of 9 positive patients, the total number of COVID-19 cases is 49,787," said Head of the Lampung Health Service, Reihana, in Bandarlampung, Antara, Wednesday, January 26.

He mentioned that the nine positive cases of COVID-19 came from Bandar Lampung five, North Lampung two, Waykanan one and South Lampung one.

"These seven positive COVID-19 patients are the result of tracing and the other two are new cases," he said.

Meanwhile, he continued, there were no additional cases of recovery, so the number of people who had finished isolation still amounted to 45,545.

"There are no additional cases of death due to the corona virus, so the number still remains at 3,826," he said.

He also mentioned that the results of the COVID-19 specimen test in Lampung from May 14, 2020 to January 25, 2022 were 235,950 with a total of 64,555 people swab.

"From the test results, there were 82,251 positive COVID-19 specimens and 151 other specimens had negative results," he said.
