Anies Baswedan Issues PPKM Gubernatorial Decree Level 2 Sets PTM To Remain Limited

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan issued Governor's Decree (Kepgub) Number 59 of 2022 concerning PPKM level two, one of which regulates the provisions of Face-to-Face Learning (PTM) limited or still at 100 percent capacity.

DKI Governor Anies Baswedan in his Kepgub explained that the provision was valid for seven days until January 31, 2022.

In the Gubernatorial Decree, reported by Antara, Wednesday, January 26, Anies implemented limited PTM and/or distance learning based on the Joint Decree (SKB) of four ministers, namely the Minister of Education and Culture, Research and Technology, the Minister of Religion, the Minister of Health and the Minister of Home Affairs regarding learning guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Decree of the four ministers, it is stated that education units are at PPKM level one or two, so PTM is carried out every day, students are 100 percent of capacity, and six hours of lessons per day.

The condition is that the education unit with the achievement of two doses of vaccination for educators and education personnel is above 80 percent and the elderly is above 50 percent.

Meanwhile, the achievement of vaccination in DKI Jakarta is above 90 percent and the elderly are above 70 percent.

In addition to the PTM issue, the Gubernatorial Decree 59 of 2022 also regulates other community activities, the provisions of which are still the same as those of Gubernatorial Decree 47 of 2022 regarding level two PPKM.

The PPKM provisions are still the same as the previous provisions because they are still at the same level.

Activities in the non-essential sector are a maximum of 50 percent for employees who have been vaccinated to work in the office (Work from office / WFO).

The essential sector operates with a capacity of 50-75 percent and the critical sector a maximum of 100 percent of the capacity.

Supermarkets, hypermarkets, traditional markets, grocery stores and supermarkets operate until 21.00 WIB with a capacity of 75 percent of visitors.

Restaurants, cafes, both in open locations or in malls, are open until 21.00 WIB with a capacity of 50 percent.

For restaurants, cafes with operating hours at night starting from 18.00 to 00.00 WIB with a capacity of 50 percent.

Activities in malls, shopping centers and trade centers are open at 50 percent capacity with operating hours until 21.00 WIB.

Cinemas are allowed to open at 70 percent capacity, places of worship are allowed to open at 75 percent capacity.

Then public facilities, namely public areas, public parks, public tourist attractions and open public areas with a capacity of 25 percent.

Art and cultural activities, sports, social activities operate at 50 percent capacity, then the fitness center/gym opens at 50 percent capacity.

Furthermore, public transportation including online taxis and rental vehicles are allowed to be open at 100 percent and wedding receptions are held at a maximum capacity of 50 percent.
