Andi Irfan Becomes A Suspect, Allegedly Brokerage Of 500 Thousand US Dollars Of Money Djoko Tjandra To Pinangki

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office has named Andi Irfan Jaya as a suspect in connection with the Supreme Court (MA) fatwa so that Djoko Tjandra will not be executed in the Bank Bali case. Andi Irfan is suspected of being an intermediary for giving money from Djoko Tjandra to prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari.

"The role of the appointed suspect, AI, is that there is a suspicion of an evil consensus carried out by the alleged PSM (Pinangki) and JST (Djoko Tjandra) prosecutors in handling fatwa," said Kapuspenkum AGO Hari Setiyono to reporters, Wednesday, September 2.

Hari emphasized that the money allegedly received by the Pinangki prosecutor was 500 thousand US dollars. The money from Djoko Tjandra was handed over through Andi Irfan.

"Since the beginning we have conveyed that the allegation is around 500 thousand USD, the allegation was accepted by Prosecutor P, but whether it was accepted directly, was it a third person, the investigators determined one more person. It was through (Andi Irfan) that this money arrived, ”he continued.

According to Hari, Andi Irfan has the status of a private party. But the private party did not explain it.

"We don't know (daily work), but it is suspected that he is a private person," said Hari.

Andi Irfan was suspected of being under Article 15 of the Corruption Eradication Law. The plan, Andi Irfan will be detained after undergoing examination.

"We coordinate the detention of the KPK detention center starting today," Hari continued.

Previously, Djoko Tjandra's attorney, Susilo Aribowo, said the money was given to Andi Irfan in connection with Djoko Tjandra's Reconsideration (PK) arrangement in the Bank Bali cessie case that was registered at the South Jakarta District Court.

Andi Irfan is said to be the administrator of NasDem Sulsel. Regarding Andi Irfan's name, VOI has confirmed it to the NasDem elite, but has not responded.

"(Djoko Tjandra gave money) to Andi Irfan through Yadi for 500 thousand US dollars. Yadi is dead, he said," Susilo told VOI, Friday, August 28.

Susilo denied that his client gave some money to Attorney Pinangki Malasari regarding legal matters. According to him, Djoko Tjandra never made any agreements with Pinangki.
