Police Call Pinjol In PIK 2 Who Was Raided Applying Minimum Loan Limit
JAKARTA - The police said the online loan company (pinjol) that was raided in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2 area applied a fairly high minimum loan limit. However, there are still many people who still want to become customers of the illegal loan.
"Because this loan activity has a loan limit, the lowest limit is IDR 1.2 million," said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, January 26.
Not only the minimum loan limit, the loan company also applies a maximum loan limit. The highest figure reached Rp. 10 million.
"Quite a lot of people who borrow in this place," he said.
However, it has not been detailed how many customers from the loan customers, including the interest applied. The reason is that it is still being investigated.
"We'll check it out later, we just secured it today," said Zulpan.
Previously, the Special Criminal Directorate of the Polda Metro Jaya raided an online loan office (pinjol) in the Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 area, North Jakarta. Of the raids, 99 people were arrested.
Of the dozens of people arrested, one of them is a manager. While the rest are temporary employees.
"It consists of 1 manager, 98 employees," he said.
Dozens of employees were divided into two teams. The first team of 48 employees served as a reminder for customers to pay bills.
Meanwhile, the rest serve as reminders and collectors to customers who are late paying. They use methods that violate the rules.
