The Greater Madago Task Force Destroys 43 Low Explosive Detenators Belonging To Poso Residents
POSO - Dozens of detonators belonging to MT, a resident of Poso Regency, Central Sulawesi, were destroyed by the Madago Raya Task Force in Detachment B of the Central Sulawesi Police Satbrimob, Wednesday, January 26.
The 43 detonators were confiscated from MT's garden, at the Manabuta Plantation Complex, Mayoa Village, South Pamona District, Poso Regency, on December 10, 2021.
"We haven't confirmed whether he (MT) is a sympathizer or not, it's still under investigation," said Head of the Madago Raya Operations Public Relations Task Force Kombes Didik Supranoto in Poso.
In addition to the detonator that was confiscated from a resident with the initials MT, the Madago Raya Task Force also destroyed a homemade bomb belonging to Ahmad Ghazali alias Ahmad Panjang which was captured by the Madago Raya Task Force on January 4, 2022 in the Parigi Moutong area.
"There was 1 homemade bomb and 43 detonators which were destroyed by the Madago Raya Task Force Team," he said.
The destruction of the bombs and detonators was carried out by the Gegana Detachment Team of the Central Sulawesi Police Satbrimob who were members of the Madago Raya Task Force. Didik said the homemade bombs or detonators that were destroyed were all low explosive.
"All low explosive power," he said.
