Upset About Not Being Invited To Apply For Work Is The Reason Why Youths In Bekasi Kill Their Own Friends

JAKARTA - The reason TAW (21) had the heart to kill AY (18) who was his own colleague turned out to be triggered by a trivial reason. The suspect was upset because he was not invited to apply for a job.

"There is a feeling of hurt, because this victim, who is a friend from his vocational school, did not invite the suspect in looking for work, and this victim has already got a job," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, January 26.

With just that reason, TAW plotted his bad intentions. He asked the victim to come to his friend's house. The suspect's invitation was conveyed through his partner.

Then, the suspect also asked the victim to bring a rope and duct tape. Without explaining the intent and purpose.

When the victim arrived at the location in the Jatiwaringan area, Bekasi, the suspect immediately launched his action. He remembers and shuts the victim's mouth.

"So, under pressure and intimidation, according to the victim, his hands were tied and then his mouth was taped and then he was left in the bathroom for about half an hour," said Zulpan.

Previously, the police revealed the case of the murder of a young man with the initials AY (18) which occurred in the Jatiwaringin area, Pondok Gede, Bekasi. Where, this disclosure originated from the information that the victim died as a result of falling from the stairs.

However, the fact is that falling down the stairs is just the perpetrator's modus operandi to eliminate the trail. In fact, what happened was that the young man was the victim of a murder.

In this case, the suspect TAW is suspected under Article 340 of the Criminal Code. Where, the penalty is life imprisonment.
