TNT Guitarist Ronni Le Tekro Releases First Solo Album In 6 Years

JAKARTA - TNT guitarist Ronni Le Tekrø will release his first solo album in six years, Bigfoot TV, on March 18 via TBC Records.

Showered with Le Tekrø's brilliant guitar filling, Bigfoot TV sounds inspiring and uplifting. His music drips from TNT to Thin Lizzy, The Beatles, David Bowie, and Le Tekro's progressive rock albums.

Le Tekrø is considered one of the most influential metal guitarists in the world. Not only through his work with TNT, but also his collaboration with jazz guitarist Terje Rypdal and as a studio musician.

With TNT, Le Tekrø has sold more than four million albums and was named one of the world's 25 best guitarists in his genre in 2009.

The lyrics in the songs on the Bigfoot TV album tell about Le Tekro's own life and values and are an evolution of music from his progressive rock realm, a continuation of his solo albums Mein Ampf 1 and 2.

"My life on Long Island was at Bayshore from 1984 to 1993. Since then, I haven't been there. This song is about the summer of '85 when everything seemed possible and hard rock ruled the world. My credit to my American family," said Le Tekro in his official statement.

In addition to Le Tekrø on guitar and vocals, the accompanying band on this album includes Markus O. Klyve (keyboards), and Henrik Fossum (drums), Ove Husemoen (bass) as well as Jon Johannessen and Leif Knashaug as additional musicians.
