Sandiaga Who Doesn't Want To Have Problems With Exorbitant Parking Rates At Tourist Attractions
JAKARTA - The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno immediately moved quickly to respond to the issue of parking rates at tourism places. Sandiaga admitted that he had coordinated with related parties to avoid cases of parking rates that were set not in accordance with government regulations.
"We will take strict action so that it doesn't happen again in the future," said Sandiaga in a statement at the Weekly Press Briefing, Jakarta, Tuesday, January 24.
We must maintain and increase the momentum of economic revival and the re-opening of employment opportunities. Sandiaga does not want any elements to damage the image of this improvement.
As is known, viral on social media regarding bus parking rates in Malioboro, Yogyakarta City, which reaches Rp. 350,000.
Furthermore, Sandiaga considers that problems like this have a negative impact on the tourism industry and the creative economy in Indonesia, especially Yogyakarta.
In fact, Sandiaga said the tourism industry is struggling and working hard for economic revival and opening up the widest possible employment opportunities.
Sandiaga also hopes that there will be no more parties who try to reap personal benefits that harm tourists.
Sandiaga said that the Yogyakarta Special Region Government has provided three special parking spaces for tourism buses, namely the Senopati Malioboro Parking Area, Ngabean Parking Park, and the Abu Bakar Ali Parking Special Place.
"The three official parking lots set tariffs in accordance with government regulations," said Sandiaga.
Sandiaga is actually open with the existence of a new parking lot. If there are residents who have vacant land, please turn it into a parking lot.
"But we must inform so that we can monitor the rates and services," he said.
