Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution Welcomes Waskita's Rusunami Development Offer
MEDAN - Mayor of Medan, North Sumatra, Bobby Nasution welcomed the offer of PT Waskita Karya Realty (WKR), a subsidiary of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk related to the construction of simple flats owned (rusunami) in this area.
"Our desire to present rusunami can be supported, so it's better. There are several locations that might be discussed further with the relevant OPD," said Bobby Nasution in Medan, as quoted by Antara, Tuesday, January 25.
This was revealed when Bobby Nasution received a visit from the management of PT WKR accompanied by a number of related OPD leaders within the Medan City Government at Medan City Hall.
The Medan City Government, Bobby continued, is currently planning to develop rusunami in the capital city of North Sumatra Province, especially for the poor.
Therefore, according to Bobby Nasution, if PT WKR's collaboration is developed for the development of urban areas by utilizing a number of assets belonging to the Medan City Government, it is hoped that the planning will run better.
"Of course, we hope that the Medan City Government's assets can be used more optimally, especially those related to the community," explained Bobby Nasution.

But before the development is realized, he said, his party must first conduct a study related to finance, business and market.
"Besides that, we also ask for permission to jointly with the relevant OPD see the existing areas or locations. Hopefully, after this meeting, we can work together," said Rishan.
