Comedian Whoopi Goldberg Asks Disney World To Build A Wakanda Park For Chadwick Boseman

JAKARTA - Actress Whoopi Goldberg asked Disney World to create a Wakanda park in memory of Chadwick Boseman, a Black Panther player.

Through his social media, Goldberg asked Disney to do this. "For people building NEW games at Disneyland and World, we don't need another Frozen park but we can choose (Wakanda) park," he wrote on Monday, August 31.

"Disneyworld Disneyland PLEASE build a park called Chadwick Boseman, Wakanda," he continued.

Warganet responded positively to his request. They also want, both Marvel and Disney, to show their tribute to the actor of King T'Challa.

Fans imagine the Wakanda Park will look like the original film where many technological changes are far developed and it seems that it will catch the attention of fans.

After officially buying Marvel in 2009, Disney established several entertainment facilities at Disneyland and Disney World, such as Galaxy's Edge which was inspired by Star Wars and Pandora from the movie Avatar.

Apart from Whoopi Goldberg, various petitions asking Disney to do the same are also starting to appear. Most recently, the public asked for a Chadwick Boseman statue to be created and displayed in the Anderson area of California.

It was right that Disney started thinking about this idea. Not only is Boseman a phenomenal figure, the Black Panther film is also the second most-selling Marvel film after Avengers: Endgame.

Chadwick Boseman died on August 28 after 4 years of battling colon cancer since 2016. Success with Black Panther, he also played in 42, Marshall, Get On Up, and Da 5 Bloods.
