Responding to this growing assumption, the National Police firmly denied this. In fact, it is said that the conversations of the two suspects were the result of deepening the information previously obtained.

In fact, he had explained, if in the process of disclosing a case, at least there have been several Notification of Commencement of Investigations (SPDP) sent to the prosecutor's office.

The five SPDP letters were sent alternately. First, when the case occurred only in 2017. Then, when the case was handled from the police to the police. Furthermore, an SPDP letter was also sent when the handling of the case was again transferred from the Police to Polda Metro Jaya. Until finally when he arrested the two suspects.

"There is an arrest warrant and an arrest warrant signed by the suspects, that's the first," said Argo.

"That we send SPDP today, that there are suspects, namely RM and RB whose identities are suspects. That is there so that we do not misinterpret why we sent SPDP just yesterday, no. Since the beginning we have sent it to the prosecutor's office," continued Argo.

Novel said it was okay

It's not just a matter of surrendering or being arrested. The disclosure of the watering case also leaves a lot of question marks. Including the Baswedan novel.

On the previous occasion, Novel had felt odd with a statement from one of the suspects who called the watering because he felt annoyed and resentful or had personal problems with him. Because, according to him, there are no problems and in fact confusion.

Responding to this, Argo said that the investigation would answer whether the statement from the suspect RB was true or it was just a fabrication. In fact, he emphasized, if the inspection process has not been completed and is still ongoing.

"Of course that's all why the suspect is detained, we want to dig it up. To dig up what the suspect's testimony is like," said Argo.

In fact, about the involvement or indication of other suspects in the case, Argo said he could not confirm it. However, it does not rule out that this will happen with a note, everything must be in accordance with the existing facts and be strengthened by strong evidence.

"Yes, we are talking about legal facts. Legal facts and existing evidence. If, for example, other evidence is found, yes, if other people are involved, why not, we will process it. The important thing is there is evidence that is there," said Argo.

Previously, it was reported that the watering actor Novel Baswedan was exposed and caught. Active police officers with the initials RM and RB are said to be the masterminds of the crime.

In fact, one of the suspects, RB, had mentioned that the motive behind the watering of Novel Baswedan was because he considered the senior KPK investigator to be a traitor. However, it is not yet known the context of the traitor he was referring to.

"Please note, I don't like Novel because he is a traitor," he said.

For your information, Novel was attacked on April 11, 2017 while walking towards his residence, after performing the Fajr prayer at the Al Ihsan Mosque, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta. As a result of the pouring of hard water, Novel's eyes were badly injured. He had eye surgery in Singapore.
