Dozens Of People Were Killed By Roasting As A Result Of Clashes At Double O Executive Karaoke Sorong, Police Chase Perpetrators
JAKARTA - The National Police is moving to carry out investigations and investigations related to clashes between two groups of residents that caused 18 deaths at a nightclub, Double O Executive Karaoke & Club Sorong, West Papua, in order to find intellectual actors and perpetrators.
The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that the West Papua Police and the Sorong Resort Police had made efforts to reduce the incident of clashes between two groups of residents starting Monday, January 24 night.
"Currently an investigation and investigation is being carried out to reveal the intellectual actors and the perpetrators of the two groups," said Dedi when confirmed in Jakarta, Tuesday, January 25, as reported by Antara.
The clash between the two groups of residents occurred at Double O Executive Karaoke & Club, Sawagumu, Sorong, West Papua. As a result of the incident, it was reported that 18 people died.
"One person died due to clashes and 17 victims died in a burning entertainment venue. It's still being investigated, that's just initial information," said Dedi.
Police have put up a police line at the burning nightclub. Officers have evacuated 17 victims who died in the nightclub.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Operations Section of the Sorong City Police, Kompol Pol. Eddwar Martua Pandjaitan said that the police had evacuated the victims who were trapped in the Doubel0 karaoke due to clashes between the two groups of residents.
Based on the results of the investigation of the crime scene by the team of doctors and the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sorong City Police and the East Sorong Police, it was reported that 17 bodies were found charred.
The identity of the 17 victims is not yet known because they have been charred. The body has been taken to Sele Be Solu Hospital for further identification.
