Chairman Of The DKI DPRD Questions The Fate Of Land Acquisition For River Normalization
JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI DPRD Prasetyo Edi Marsudi responded to the statement from the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan who said that Formula E was firmly held because it had been included in DKI regional regulations (perda) regarding the 2019 APBD changes.
It is known, in preparing the changes to the 2019 budget year, Anies brought the idea of implementing Formula E after returning from the United States. Anies also included the commitment fee budget for Formula E in the APBD amendment.
If Anies reasoned that Formula E was carried out because of the order of the regional regulation, Prasetyo then questioned the fate of the river normalization land acquisition program which was also included in the regional regulation.
"If the Governor declares his obligation to carry out the Regional Regulation's orders, then there are thousands of activity budget ceilings in each APBD that are ratified and must be implemented. One of them is normalizing rivers in the 2019 Revised APBD. Monday, January 24.
Thus, Prasetyo branded Anies selective in implementing the local regulation. Prasetyo also asked Anies not to hide behind a regional regulation in carrying out his personal ambition of holding Formula E. Moreover, to implement the program, trillions of rupiah were used from the APBD.
"The governor does not want to carry out land acquisition. The governor is afraid of being called evictions. There are two problems in Jakarta, traffic jams and flooding. So please, let's work together, focus on that problem first," he said.
Previously, Anies emphasized that Formula E was not a forced event. He said holding an electric car race was a regional regulation mandate.
The regional regulation in question is the 2019 revised APBD. Formula E is one of the programs that have been budgeted for through the Youth and Sports Office.
"When asked why this was forced, not forced, this is a regional regulation, it has been stipulated by a regional regulation," Anies said on the Total Politics Youtube show.
Therefore, Anies considers himself obliged to carry out the planning process until the implementation of Formula E. "And it is the governor's job to carry out all statutory provisions, including regional regulations, and that regional regulation is about formula E. That's what I did," he said.
