Toyota Innova Car Enters Trench On Tangerang - Merak Toll Road, Banten Police Traffic Director: Driver Sleepy

SERANG - Banten Police Ditlantas personnel evacuate a Toyota Innova car that fell into a ditch on the Tangerang-Merak toll road KM 53,500 B towards Jakarta. Luckily there were no fatalities in the incident.

Banten Police Traffic Director, Kombes Budi Mulyanto, said his party received the report of the single accident on Monday, January 24, morning.

"We received information that an out of control or a single traffic accident occurred at the TKP (crime scene) at the Tangerang-Merak toll road KM 53,500 B towards Jakarta. After receiving this information, personnel immediately went to help", said Budi Mulyanto, Monday, January 24.

Budi also said that the accident started when the Toyota Innova vehicle driven by AFH (22) was driving on the toll road from Merak to Jakarta. The vehicle moved to the left in a slow lane until it came to a ditch.

"The accident occurred because the AFH driver (22) while driving the vehicle fell asleep, so the vehicle entered the ditch", said Budi.

As a result of the incident, AFH suffered injuries and his vehicle was damaged.
