Under 17 Degrees, The Physical Condition Of The U-19 National Team In Croatia Continues To Be Encouraged
JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team coach Shin Tae-yong has gradually increased the training portion of the U-19 national team in Croatia. The national team will face a number of trials in the Balkans.
Quoted from Antara, Tuesday, September 1, after light training a few hours after arriving in Croatia on Sunday, the U-19 national team immediately underwent three training sessions, namely at 10.30, 16.00 and 21.00 local time starting Monday.
"We are increasing the intensity of training starting today. We provide material on tactics and others," said Shin.
According to the South Korean tactician, the players' performance continued to show improvement.
Amiruddin Bagas and his friends had no difficulty in adapting. They show hard work and passion at every opportunity.
"The development of the team is getting more positive every day," said Shin.
Croatia has a different climate from Indonesia. There, the temperature in the morning to noon ranges from 25-26 degrees Celsius and at night the situation gets colder with temperatures of 16-17 degrees Celsius. That is not to mention the added rain that often falls in the afternoon.
However, this situation did not dampen the motivation of the U-19 national team. They stay focused on carrying out the exercises step by step.
"The training material from the coach is very good, we carry out the training as desired by the coaching team. Apart from training we are also ready to undergo several trial matches here," said U-19 national team right-back Ammiruddin Bagas Kaffa.
The friendly tournament was postponedMeanwhile, the U-19 international friendly tournament in Croatia started from September 2 to September 5. PSSI welcomes this decision.
PSSI Chairman Mochamad Iriawan in his statement today said the postponement was good for the players.
"Because they can make longer preparations before undergoing the trial match," said Iriawan, quoted from Antara.
According to the man who is familiarly called Iwan Bule, the change of date for the friendly tournament was a request from the Croatian Football Federation (HNS).
Thus, in the tournament that the four countries participated in, the Indonesian U-19 national team will face Bulgaria on Saturday, September 5, against host Croatia on Tuesday (September 8) and test the power of Saudi Arabia on Friday (September 11).
Iriawan added, apart from the three countries, the U-19 national team will also participate in several trial matches in Croatia with good quality opponents such as the Qatar, Bosnia and Herzegovina U-19 national team and the Dinamo Zagreb youth team.
The Indonesian U-19 national team, which is handled by coach Shin Tae-yong, arrived in Croatia on Sunday and is scheduled to be there for one month.
There are 28 players and 15 officials, including the coach, who participated in the activities in Croatia.
The TC was held in preparation for the 2020 edition of the U-19 Asian Cup in Uzbekistan on October 14-31. However, based on the latest news, there is a possibility that the tournament will be postponed by the AFC due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
After the U-19 Asian Cup, the U-19 national team is projected to compete in the 2021 U-20 World Cup which will be held in Indonesia on 20 May-12 June 2021.
