It's Said That The Police Created Content On The Andara Toll Road, Convoy Participants: We Know Ourselves, It's Impossible To Take Photos And Cause Traffic Jams!

JAKARTA - The participants of the luxury car convoy, called the police, have caused traffic jams on the Andara Toll Road because they have finally made their voices heard. They denied all police statements because they were angry with the accusation of causing traffic jams.

One of the convoy participants was Akbar Rais, a content creator as well as a drifter. On his Instagram account, he narrated the chronology of the incident so that it was finally reported to make documentation.

"We were really surprised that we were stopped in the middle of the road, indeed there was 1 car that recklessly entered our group. You can see it in @kiki_anugraha's post then from behind there are police chasing the car. Then suddenly our road was blocked by the police ..." wrote him, Monday January 24th.

Akbar Rais made sure they were still within the normal speed limit on the expressway. And this is the most important. Akbar Rais denied that they deliberately stopped on the side of the road to take photos.

Instead they stopped because the route was blocked by the police.

"We obeyed the stop and there was a traffic jam like the picture on @tmcpoldametro. I stopped and discussed with the police as in slide 3, and received an explanation. In essence, we have to get permission from the toll road party if we want to take photos/videos on the toll road this. After finishing and being given an understanding, I said goodbye and the problem was finished on the spot," he said.

A similar statement was also conveyed by the account owner @kiki_anugraha through his personal Instagram.

"What actually happened this morning was, we were traveling in a convoy of 2 lines, 60-80km, there were 3 lines, and we car boys know that if there is another car, we will make 1 line first and when it is empty we will return 2 more lines. Then when we were in the convoy there was an A35 AMG car that was not from our group, there was a riot behind him overtaking our group and he was being chased by the police, but because the car was very fast, the police couldn't catch him, and there was a misunderstanding, so what the police stopped was our group, even though the A35 AMG car is not from our convoy group,"

"The photos that circulated are photos when our group was blocked by the police, so there are those who want to go right and left to pass the barricade, NOT we want to take photos across the shoulder of the road. We also know ourselves, it's impossible to take photos on the shoulder of the road toll roads and create traffic jams," they said.

Previously, the Head of the Polda Metro Jaya Highway Police Unit Kompol Sutikno said the traffic jam occurred on the Andara KM 02+400 toll road section. At least more than seven luxury cars involved in the convoy.

"More than seven (luxury cars, red)," said Sutikno when confirmed, Monday, January 24.

The convoy's activities were detected based on CCTV camera monitoring. They are observed taking pictures so that they become the attention of other motorists and end up in traffic jams

"If all the toll roads have CCTV, it looks like there are lots of people taking pictures of teenagers in luxury cars. So people's attention, people move aside," he said.

Allegedly, the riders were taking pictures and making videos for personal gain. They are called to create content which will later be uploaded to their respective social media.

"It's like making content," said Sutikno.
