Licensing Completed, Starting February 2022 Depok City Can Dispose Of Waste To Lulut Nambo TPPAS
DEPOK - Deputy Mayor of Depok Imam Budi Hartono confirmed that his party had obtained a permit to dispose of waste to the Lulut-Nambo Regional Waste Processing and Processing Site (TPPAS) in the Lulut-Nambo Region, Bogor Regency, West Java.
"All permits have been processed so that the City of Depok can dispose of waste to the Lulut Nambo TPPAS starting mid-February 2022," said Imam in Depok, Antara, Sunday, January 23.
Imam explained that the Lulut-Nambo Regional TPPAS is only in the first stage because only 1,000 tons can be managed. The city of Depok gets a quota of 350 tons per day.
In addition to Depok City, the areas that also dispose of waste to the Lulut Nambo TPPAS are Bogor Regency, Bogor City and South Tangerang Regency (Tangsel).
According to Imam, Depok City itself needs to disburse funds of around Rp. 125,000 per ton plus Rp. 12,000 for residents affected by waste disposal at the Lulut Nambo TPPAS.
"If we throw garbage into Nambo, we will spend a budget of 40 to 48 billion rupiah per year. But because it is only 350 tons per day, we only spend 12 billion per year," he explained.
For this reason, Imam invites the community to start sorting waste from their homes. That way, it can reduce the volume of waste that is transported to the final disposal site (TPA).
"Because the Cipayung TPA wants to close, we want to throw it away, if not, we will process it and sort it out. We can sell the plastic waste, we process the organic waste into eco-enzyme or maggot, everything becomes money," he said.
